Welcome to our Preschool!
Trinity Christian Preschool opens its ministry to families of Christian denominations across the four states area. As a leader in child development and prekindergarten academic excellence, we understand that children thrive in a child-centered, nurturing, and safe environment. Each child is unique, and God has gifted children with natural curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder. These characteristics help the children to learn as they explore, experiment, create, and discover through structured daily lessons and play. It is our goal to partner with Christian families in equipping their toddler, preschool, and junior kindergarten students with appropriate child development experiences, biblical character training, and academic excellence to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
Along with learning the basic skills needed for reading, writing, and arithmetic, children learn about the world around them through creative exploration and play. Innovative Learning Centers are also used to enhance the learning experience of our prekindergarten students. Your child will learn of God’s love through Bible songs, stories, and lessons; interaction with warm, Christian teachers and staff; and through everyday experiences. Your child will flourish in an environment where home, church, and school partner together to “Train your child up in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Art and music are an important part of our preschoolers’ day. Most of our learning is enhanced and reinforced through creativity, crafts, and music. Each year our preschoolers also take part in several all-school programs where they are able to showcase what they have learned in the classroom.
Trinity Christian Preschool is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education, Child Care Licensing Unit, Little Rock, Arkansas. We follow the licensing requirements for Child Care Centers in Arkansas. The licensing unit requires certain safety regulations which can be viewed on their website and are followed by Trinity Christian Preschool. Preschool and all school personnel at TCS obtain more than the required amount of continuing education hours each year, and all personnel undergo extensive background checks. TCS also has a full-time Registered Nurse on Campus.
Our preschool children are active! There are opportunities each day to enjoy the playground and fun physical activities in the classroom.
Our TCS Summer Camp is available from early June through early August and is filled with fun, interactive “themed” weeks of age appropriate activities and projects throughout the summer!
Summer Camp is available for Toddlers through 5th grade and is open to the public. If you are interested in the Summer Camp program, please fill out the registration information here: TCS Summer Camp 2021.
Our Preschool Program lovingly ministers to children ages two four and uses a reputable curriculum as its guide. A BEKA Curriculum is a comprehensive, Biblically based, and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Throughout the years, A BEKA has proven itself by preparing children spiritually with Biblical truths; academically, with strong phonics and math skills; socially, through classmate interaction and dramatic play; and physically, through motor skill activities.
The Toddler and Preschool Programs are an excellent prep for our Junior Kindergarten Program, where a strong foundation in Phonics and Mathematics is built, and our Junior Kindergarteners are effective readers before they graduate to Senior Kindergarten!
Trinity Christian Preschool employs a wonderful Christian staff, who have given their life to Jesus Christ and are committed to using their gifts and abilities to educate and care for our preschool students. Having a natural love for children and teaching, our teachers bring many years of education and experience to the Prekindergarten Program. All of our PreKindergarten Staff is CPR and First Aid certified, obtaining more than the required amount of continuing education hours each year, as well as completing extensive background checks. The parent/teacher/child relationship is so important to the success of each child, and the partnership is what makes Trinity Christian Preschool such a wonderful place for our families!
